A CSA consists of a community of individuals who pledge support to a farm operation so that the farmland becomes the community’s farm and the growers and consumers provide mutual support and share the risks and benefits of food production.
By joining a Rainshadow Organics CSA your upfront investment reduces the financial risk of our farm. It provides literal seed money and allows us to focus on the quality care of soils, crops, animals, co-workers, and of course, you. In return, you receive weekly or monthly shares (depending on what CSA you sign up for and the time of year) of what is seasonably available.

This special CSA program for your whole household allows members to truly eat from the farm year round. Pick up is weekly at our Farm Store, and includes unlimited access to our veggies, whole grains, and flours; weekly allotments of meat and milk; and monthly allotments of honey. This 20-week CSA runs Wednesdays, May 29-October 9 and can be picked up at the Brooks Alley Bend Farmers Market or at our Farm Store. All shares are entirely Rainshadow Organics goods. Small shares include 5-7 vegetable items weekly and a bi-weekly 5 pound meat share. Large shares are 9-11 vegetables weekly and 10 pounds of meat biweekly. This bi-weekly CSA runs Wednesdays, May 29-October 2. Each share consists of a variety of different meat cuts from our cows and pigs, pasture-raised whole chickens, lard, and broth. You will receive way more ground than steaks, 2-3 whole chickens, and about 45% pork and 55% beef. This will be a journey through the whole animal!
